MESHA, a Kenyan based science media organization, will hold a virtual pre-conference this week from 10th-11th September 2020. The pre-conference comes ahead of the annual Africa Science journalism conference to be held in Kisumu a border town between Kenya and Uganda.
MESHA will organize the event as a major African congress of science journalists where research institutions, NGOs, and international bodies will discuss the practice and future of science journalism. The conference will be held from November 16 to 19, 2020, bringing together hundreds of science journalists from the region to discuss science journalism in Africa, it’s future, and how to work with other science players to promote science literacy in Africa.
