Multi-asset broker Exness (www.Exness.com) has declared the extension of its Fintech Scholarships program to Kenya.
This scheme will be carried out in collaboration with the United States International University (USIU). The aim of the Exness Fintech Scholarships is to support and nurture exceptional university students pursuing studies in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
In Kenya, the doors of this opportunity are open to third and fourth-year USIU undergraduates specializing in the cutting-edge disciplines of Data Science, Analytics, and Software Engineering. Additionally, students who are accepted for the MSc in Information Technology course, set to commence in September 2023, are also eligible to apply.
The scholarship is designed to be all-encompassing, covering not only the full tuition fees but also providing for the students’ living expenses.
Eager to seize this life-changing opportunity, aspiring students are encouraged to submit their applications to Exness by 28th July 2023. To do so, they are required to provide their CVs, academic transcripts, and a heartfelt motivation letter that expresses their passion and dedication to their chosen STEM field.
With the launch of the Fintech Scholarships program in Kenya, Exness has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to supporting education in the countries where it operates.
Kenya is the third nation to benefit from this initiative. Cyprus had previously witnessed two students embrace their scholarships and embark on a journey to study at the prestigious University of Cambridge, while applications for the 2023 scholarships were already open. South Africa had also witnessed three bright minds win the chance to pursue post-graduate studies at the esteemed University of Cape Town.
“We are happy to be able to launch our Exness Fintech Scholarships program in yet another country”, said Martin Thorvaldsson, Exness Head of Community. He added: “At Exness, we recognize the importance of higher education for our youth’s future and are honored to be part of the journey of excellent students in building the STEM careers and future they dream of. We strongly believe that technology and innovation are key sectors for every economy and as a fintech company, we are dedicated to supporting the minds that can contribute to their growth and development.”
“As a university, we are so excited about our partnership with Exness. The Exness Fintech Scholarships aim to offer opportunities to young people from Kenya to achieve their full potential and aspirations in the Technology space. We strongly believe that to truly transform society, learning and education needs to align with local and global challenges and opportunities. The scholarship degree programs of Data Science and Analytics, Software Engineering and Information Security are indeed game changers for the landscape of the 21st century”, Prof. Margee Ensign, Vice Chancellor at United States International University Africa commented.
